The Leica CityMapper-2 is an airborne lidar mapping system manufactured by Leica Geosystems. It integrates hybrid oblique imaging with a lidar sensor to capture visible and near-infrared (NIR) imagery for urban mapping. The lidar sensor operates at 1064 nm with a pulse repetition frequency of 2 MHz. It captures images every 0.9 seconds at a spatial resolution of 0.5 m. The Leica CityMapper-2 can operate at altitudes from 300 to 5,000 m above ground level (AGL) and has a vertical accuracy of approximately 5 cm.
