Leica CityMapper-2
Leica CityMapper-2 High-Performance Urban Mapping Sensor

The Leica CityMapper-2 is an airborne lidar mapping system manufactured by Leica Geosystems. It combines hybrid oblique imaging and a lidar sensor to obtain visible and near-infrared (NIR) imagery for urban mapping. The lidar sensor operates at the 1064 nm wavelength and has a pulse repetition frequency of 2 MHz. It obtains images every 0.9 seconds at a spatial resolution of 0.5 m. The Leica CityMapper-2 can operate in altitudes ranging from 300 to 5,000 m above ground level (AGL) and has a vertical accuracy of around 5 cm.
